Indian Mores makes Kundan, Jadau, Rajputi and temple jewellery in the workshops of Jaipur — for retail and for wholesale, using techniques that haven’t changed in generations.
Why Jaipur
Jaipur has cut stones and worked gold since the city was founded in 1727 — its karigars trained in techniques passed from master to apprentice, not taught in a classroom. Indian Mores works with these same workshops.
We make two kinds of jewellery: pieces finished for retail, sold directly to people who want the real technique without wholesale minimums, and bulk orders for retailers and exporters who need consistent quality at scale. Same workshop, same hands, two ways to buy.
Hand-set, not glued
Every stone is set the Kundan way — pressed into gold foil, not fixed with prongs or adhesive.

Each piece is traceable to the karigar family that made it, not an anonymous factory line.

Regionally accurate
Kundan, Jadau, Rajputi and temple jewellery each follow their own regional technique, not a generic "ethnic" style.
Technique — Rajasthan
Kundan
Glass or gemstones set into gold foil, built up in layers until the stone sits flush — no claws, no glue, just pressure and gold.
Technique — Mughal-Rajasthani
Jadau
Gold is engraved first, then stones are pressed into lac inside the engraving. Most Jadau pieces are finished with meenakari enamel work on the reverse.
Technique — Rajasthani court
Rajputi
Bold, layered pieces styled after Rajasthani court jewellery — jhumkas, haath phool, borla and other statement forms.
Technique — South Indian
Temple Jewellery
Originally made to adorn temple idols in South India, worked in motifs of deities, peacocks and lotus, now worn as bridal and festive jewellery.
